Every day, law enforcement officers step into danger to safeguard their communities—and only another officer truly understands what that demands. That’s why the Fraternal Order of Police stands as the premier Professional Organization representing South Carolina’s law enforcement officers. We protect those who protect others. We advocate, support, and fight for the men and women who serve on the front lines. If you wear the badge, the FOP is the organization built for you.
WHO CAN JOIN
If you serve and protect the public in the Summerville–Dorchester area, the FOP welcomes you. Our membership includes active and retired professionals from every corner of the law-enforcement community—detention officers, municipal police, county deputies, state troopers and agents, federal officers, and military law-enforcement personnel with arrest powers in South Carolina. No matter your patch or your post, you belong here.
